These adidas NMD S1 feature a molded and knitted upper with a sock-like ankle collar atop a reworked sole unit. It replaces the Boost cushioning for a more bulky, thick gel sole with traction teeth appearing on the outsole. The original EVA foam plugs have been replaced with a new slim style on the forefoot and heel.
