Throughout the illustrious history of the Air Jordan 5, one of its most appreciated non-OG iterations that dropped in the year 2000 is the blue and yellow-laden “Laney” color scheme that pays homage to MJ’s high school alma mater. Now, 19 years later, the Jumpman is reviving the homage with a primarily Varsity Royal colorway of the same silhouette with hits of Light Charcoal and Varsity Maize to create another Laney-friendly version of MJ’s fifth signature model.
